The process of DTY 

The manufacturing process of Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY) involves several stages. It all begins with Polyester (POY) filaments, which start off smooth and consistent. The first essential step is drawing, where heated rollers gently stretch the filaments. This process aligns the polymer molecules and boosts the yarn's durability. Following the drawing, the filaments enter a texturing phase. Here, different techniques like controlled tension, heat, and friction are used to shape the yarn into the desired crimp, loops, and volume. The textured form is then set and secured through heat setting and cooling. This entire process results in the unique properties of DTY.
