What is DTY
DTY is a kind of polyester thread made by transforming POY through a texturing procedure. This procedure scatters, curls, and tangles the threads that make up the POY thread, giving DTY a fluffy appearance and the qualities of both natural and synthetic fibers. DTY is commonly used to create high-quality clothing, sportswear, sports shoes, sports bags, home furnishings, and zipper tapes.
DTY is a final product derived from POY, simultaneously twisted and drawn. It is extensively utilized in knitting and weaving.
Draw Texturized Yarn (DTY) is produced by texturizing partially oriented yarn using texturizing machines. Polyester DTY yarn is a continuous thread that has been treated to add durable crimps, twists, interlaces, and loops. Yarns made from thermoplastic materials can be textured by heat setting while twisted, resulting in polyester DTY yarn with increased bulk, greater stretch, and more pleasing appearance. DTY is available in semi-dull, Full Dull, and bright DTY finishes.
